We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Teresa to the Sarnia Carers CI family! Since joining us in September, she’s fitted in beautifully, her kindness, sense of humour, and gentle nature have made her a favourite with both our staff and clients alike.
Teresa has always been a deeply empathetic person, but her experience supporting her lovely mum through every stage of dementia truly showed her strength, love, and courage. Even as she coped with the heartbreak of losing her mum, Teresa continued to be a wonderful mum and wife herself. That journey has shaped her into the compassionate carer she is today, and we’re all the better for having her with us.
Before joining us, Teresa spent 23 years working with the public, working her way up to manage a team of more than 30 people. Her loyalty, leadership, and ability to bring people together are just a few of her many strengths. She’s fun, supportive, and a real team player, her positivity and energy are contagious!
What makes welcoming Teresa even more special is the genuine, lasting friendships she brings with her. Both Sue and Kathy were lucky enough to know Teresa and her family. Kathy had the privilege of growing up alongside her. Friendships like these are built on trust, kindness, and shared values, they’re at the heart of who we are at Sarnia Carers. We believe these connections shine through in the care we give and the way we support each other, every single day.
Teresa’s commitment to lifelong learning is inspiring. She’s already completed her Care Certificate and is now taking on even more training to help us deliver the very best, most compassionate care to our wonderful clients, old and new.
