Today, we’d like to share some news about the heart of our service—our team—as we navigate a time of change.
As the days grow brighter and spring begins to bloom, we’re reminded that this season is all about growth, renewal, and fresh starts. It’s a time when we embrace change and look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead. This spring, we find ourselves at a bittersweet moment as we say goodbye to one chapter and welcome the beginning of another.
At the end of this month, we’ll be saying goodbye to a member of our team. This individual has been a steadfast and dedicated part of Sarnia Carers CI, known for their reliability and hard work. They had every intention of staying with us, but sometimes life takes an unexpected turn, and they have chosen to explore new opportunities.
One of their standout contributions was their incredible encouragement and motivation during ‘The Val Des Terres Everest Challenge’ charity event for Les Bourgs Hospice. They were the driving force behind the event, walking that hill in all weathers with unwavering determination and inspiring others to join in. Thanks to their initiative, we are proud to say that we will continue to take part in this charity event every year, carrying forward the spirit of their idea and the difference it makes to the community.
It’s safe to say things will feel a little quieter without their cheeky sense of humour around the place. What a perfect excuse to mark their departure with pleanty cakes, while we reflect on their time with us and wish them all the best as they move on to new opportunities.
While farewells can be bittersweet, they also bring opportunities for fresh beginnings. We’re thrilled to welcome new faces to the Sarnia Carers CI family. These new team members bring with them a wealth of experience, with over 15 years of working in caring roles, and are well qualified to provide the compassionate support our clients deserve.
It’s certainly busy, busy, busy around here, and these new additions couldn’t have come at a better time. Each new team member brings warmth, dedication, and a shared commitment to delivering the highest standard of care. We are excited about the fresh energy and expertise they bring and are confident they will make a positive impact on our clients and team alike.
Spring is a time for growth, and as a team, we are embracing this moment of renewal. While farewells can be emotional, they also open the door to new possibilities.
